「Mothers' daily schedule」2021年

20歳未満のお子さんを持つ、三谷温泉や周辺に関わるお母さんたちに、1日のスケジュールをインタビューし、そのスケジュールを作品とした。普段陽の光が当たらないお母さんたちの仕事を、三谷の美しい太陽の光をとおして、陽に当てると共に、その光を感じ、浴びてもらう作品。午後3時ごろからは西日がさし、空間全体が、パステルカラーのやさしく、美しい光に包まれて行きます。

Artist: 安田佐智種; ニューヨークを拠点に活動。アートの社会的、公共的価値と可能性を追求するため、主にニューヨークと日本でプロジェクトを展開中。2021 年より代替え経済を目標に、弱者の立場にある人々の物語と共にリサイクル問題を探るプロジェクト「Upcycle Uplift」を開始。東日本大震で失われた生活の記録と未来の希望へとつなげるために福島県立博物館、南相馬市役所、地域住民との協働プロジェクトMemories of Lives」(2013-2018)を実施。

Sachigusa Yasuda is based in New York. Currently developing projects mainly in New York and Japan with the aim of expanding the social and public value and possibilities of art. Since 2021 in NY, Yasuda launched 'Upcycle Uplift', which combines human rights and recycling issues with the goal of an alternative economy. From 2013 to 2018, in order to record the lives lost in the Great East Japan Earthquake and connect them to hope for the future, the Fukushima Museum, Minamisoma City Hall, and local residents collaborated in the project "Memory of Life." sachigusa.com
